“Arti Vi.Ve” a bridge between Viterbo and Venice – Biennials compared

15-25 September 2022

Venice, Spazio San Vidal in Campo San Zaccaria

Born from the collaboration between the Association for the Promotion of the Arts in Italy – founder of the Viterbo Biennale – and Maggio Art Consultancy – London’s based art consultancy – this exhibition is in conjunction, for the first time, with the two Biennials of contemporary art, in the same even year.

“The milk of dreams” and “Art on the borders of Bioethics” are the two challenging  themes for the Venice’s and Viterbo’s Biennale.

In the present age, where people are increasingly relegated to the role of consumers rather than actors and producers of their own existence, we selected a group of artists that, since the inception of their careers, followed one and only one mantra: avoid trivialization and improvisation in their art production and keep alive a debate in which themes and relationships between art, technology, communication, mind and heart will be deepened.

Their Art expressions show to be a powerful tool for discovering the extraordinary nature of life and its sacredness, a real space for dreams, creativity, vitality, a search for meaning and a key to understanding the journey of growth and discovery of the unknown self.

And these concepts, we believe, must be preserved and protected for the very survival of the human being.
