The 4th BESTNATURE Field Week has officially started in Germany

BavarianForest
Yesterday, students arrived in the stunning Bavarian Forest National Park for the fourth Field Week of the BESTNATURE – Erasmus+ project: an international learning experience focused on biodiversity, environmental monitoring, and the latest field-based research techniques and technologies.
The week brings together students from the Natural Sciences (SNA), Environmental Biological Sciences (SBA) and Marine Biology and Ecology (MBE) degree programmes, together with students from the University of Bologna, the University of Passau (Germany) and the University of Graz (Austria).
Immersed in one of Central Europe’s most fascinating forest ecosystems, students will explore biodiversity directly in the field while learning how advanced tools and innovative technologies can be used to monitor ecosystems and assess environmental change.
Through hands-on activities, field observations, environmental monitoring, data collection and teamwork, the Field Week provides a unique opportunity to turn classroom knowledge into practical skills while sharing experiences with fellow students and teachers from across Europe.
Learning by doing, working together, exploring biodiversity.
