The Aargauer Kunsthaus is presenting the sixth edition of the exhibition Flowers to Art. Floral Interpretations of Works from the Collection (5 March – 10 March 2019).ad Aarau in Svizzera
By means of fresh flowers, outstanding florists interpret classical and contemporary works in the collection of the Aargauer Kunsthaus. Seasoned florists as well as young talents demonstrate the breadth and diversity of floristic work in Switzerland and open up new perspectives on art.
This year, we are pleased to announce an extraordinary «East meets West» event, since the star florist and philosopher Dr. Solomon Leong from Hongkong is participating. Also new this year is the «Experimental Window» where floristry, art and design meet.
Flowers to Art is a joint project of the FLOWERS TO ARTS association and the Aargauer Kunsthaus.

The Opening Event will take place on 4 March 2019:5 – 6 pm Exclusive Preview for sponsors and members of the Aargau Art Association, partners and sponsors of the exhibition Flowers to Art and the media
6.15 pm Speeches by Madeleine Schuppli, Director Aargauer Kunsthaus, Simona Ciuccio, Curator of the Collection of the Aargauer Kunsthaus, and Angela Wettstein, initiator of FLOWERS TO ARTS.
Followed by a reception in the foyer
Starting at 7.30 pm Food is served at the Flower Bistro on the Kunsthaus roof
The master florists and floral designers will be present at the exhibition opening.
L’Aargauer Kunsthaus presenta la sesta edizione della mostra Flowers to Art. Interpretazioni floreali delle opere della collezione (5 marzo – 10 marzo 2019).
Con i fiori freschi, i migliori artisti interpretano opere classiche e contemporanee nella collezione dell’Aargauer Kunsthaus. I fioristi di esperienza e i giovani talenti esibiranno la grandezza e la diversità delle lavoro creazioni in Svizzera aprendo a nuove prospettive sull’arte.
L’evento di quest’anno sarà straordinario, il tema: «Oriente incontra l’Occidente», dal momento che partecipano il fiorista e filosofo stellato Dr. Solomon Leong di Hongkong. Un’altra novità è la «finestra sperimentale» in cui si incontrano arte e design.
Flowers to Art è un progetto congiunto dell’associazione FLOWERS TO ARTS e della Aargauer Kunsthaus.
Nel programma di eventi di supporto (visite guidate, conferenze, finestra sperimentale, workshop) e informazioni sul Flower Bistro e il Pop-up Shop.

Ore: 18.15 Intervento di di Madeleine Schuppli, direttrice Aargauer Kunsthaus, Simona Ciuccio, curatrice della collezione dell’Aargauer Kunsthaus e Angela Wettstein, iniziatore di FLOWERS TO ARTS.
Seguirà un ricevimento nel foyer
A partire dalle 19.30 Il cibo una cena è servita al Flower Bistro sul tetto del Kunsthaus
All’apertura della mostra saranno presenti i maestri fiorai e designer floreali.
